Hi! Welcome to my blog, Training A Servant's Heart! I believe being a parent is the most precious and important role in a person's life. I also believe the Word that tells us to train up our children in the way they should go. That they will not depart from it when they're older. That's a promise! Proverbs 22:6
Because of these things, I quit working full-time, determined to dedicate myself completely to the two most important guys God has given me. It's been hard financially and has been a CRAZY big adjustment for everyone. However, God has kept us (and will continue to) and shown us that His way is always better. Every time!
I understand now the verse in Psalm 37 that assures us that He will give us our heart's desire if we delight ourselves in Him, Psalm 37. When we are receptive to God's love, our desires change. Sometimes rather quickly and dramatically...mine sure did. But, He has already given us everything we need to be successful in the calling He's placed on our lives. 2 Peter 1:3
We just have to trust Him and walk in faith. Everyday.
Anyone else out there surprised to find themselves homeschooling? I know I am! Ha!
My greatest desire now is that my boys grow to have the heart of Christ. A servant's heart.

We homeschool our four boys. It's great to meet others who do the same. I'm also deep into music composition, playing and mixing.
